Donor Recognition Tree

The Donor Recognition Tree is here! As we enter our fourth year in our beautiful building, many of us are aware that numerous contributors enabled us to make the leap from a temporary, rented space to a permanent home. A few months ago the board authorized the creation of a donor tree to honor those contributions, and I am pleased to announce that our donor recognition tree is now displayed on the wooden column of the entrance to the sanctuary!  The design is the form of an etz chaim, or tree of life, symbolizing the importance of a strong foundation as well as a full canopy and will give us room to grow with additional leaves and stones.

The tree consist of three levels of giving designated by colored leaves:

• Alim (Contributor) – bronze leaf for donations of $1,000-$4,999
• Anafim (Supporter) – silver leaf for donations of $5,000-$9,999
• Zemorot (Sustainer) – gold leaf for donations of $10,000-$24,999
Foundation stones will be placed beneath the tree to honor our largest rashei pinah (Pillar) contributors. Previous contributors should have received a letter in the mail detailing their contribution level and asking for them to let us know what names they would like inscribed on their leaf or stone. Please return your form by March 12 to be included in the initial set of leaves.  If you are interested in making a contribution towards a leaf or have any questions, please contact me (see contact information below).  It is a longstanding tradition of the Jewish people to honor those who have made contributions. We hope you will enjoy seeing this tribute each time you enter the sanctuary!
