Rabbi Jacob will be teaching a course on Contemporary Jewish Thought during the spring semester at the University. The course is a survey of Jewish thought in the twentieth and twenty-first century. We will consider how Jewish thinkers respond to such issues as assimilation, the Holocaust, the establishment of the State of Israel, suburbanization, the 60’s counterculture, feminism, intermarriage, continuity and others. There are no prerequisites.
