Mitzvah Project for Peace at Home Family Shelter

The Sisterhood is involved in a project called “SANTA SACK”. Our goal is collect gift items for the shelter children and their mothers. A Sisterhood member will deliver the items on Monday, December 8. Contributions are needed BEFORE December 8.

There is a box, or boxes, in the temple lobby labeled “SANTA SACK”. Some gifts are suggested but don’t hesitate to choose anything that you think would be nice.

CHILDREN:
Under 3 years – Building blocks, push toys, learning toys, blankets. NO STUFFED TOYS.
4 – 12 years – Puzzles, cars, dolls, action figures, board games, scarves, gloves, fun slippers.
13 – 17 years – Costume jewelry, make-up, books, watches, purses, gift cards, fun lamps.

WOMEN/MOMS:
Gift cards, kitchen supplies, small appliances (coffee pots, toasters, crock pots, etc.) nice home knick-knacks (wall clocks, frames, etc.), body products (soaps, lotions perfume, makeup, etc.), slippers, socks, robes.
