SOLD OUT – Benefit for Temple Shalom

Feb 17 – Theater Squared Stage Reading at Temple Shalom

Theatre Squared Artistic Director Robert Ford will present a staged reading in February of his play “My Father’s War” at Temple Shalom in Fayetteville, starring Amy Herzberg.

Silent Auction and reception begin at 6 p.m. Saturday.  Proceeds benefit the congregation.

The production will begin at 7 p.m.

My Father’s War is based on the true story of Private Art Herzberg, a Jewish kid from Chicago’s North Side who landed at Normandy on D-Day and fought through to the Battle of the Bulge. Herzberg survives one near-death experience after another — not to mention anti-Semitism in his own ranks — through luck, chutzpah, and brilliant comic timing.
