Inaugural Shabbat in the Park

We are excited to hold our first annual Temple Shalom Shabbat in the Park with the beautiful musical leadership of Sammi Stinson. As a special bonus, we are excited to have the Artosphere Festival Orchestra join us for music during and after the service!

Services are Friday, May 20, 6-ish p.m. (please feel free to arrive early) at the Gulley Park Gazebo.

The Artosphere Festival Orchestra is under the baton of Music Director Corrado Rovaris. Beginning from its premiere season in 2011, and for every year since, over 90 world-class musicians from around the world travel to Northwest Arkansas to participate in the annual Artosphere Festival celebrating the convergence of arts, music, nature and sustainability. In addition to traditional community engagement performances, members of the Artosphere Festival Orchestra also perform pop-up mini concerts in a variety of settings.

What a wonderful opportunity for a “private” mini concert for Temple Shalom and guests!

The Gazebo is on the Old Wire Road side of the park. Paved parking is available near both park entrances on Old Wire Road and Township Street, and on residential side streets near the park.

Restrooms are a short walk through the park.

Please bring lawn chairs or blankets and a picnic dinner if you wish!

Dessert will be provided by Temple Shalom.
